The Songhees Nation, or Lək̓ʷəŋən, are a Coast Salish people whose unceded territory includes the lands and waters around present-day Victoria on southern Vancouver Island. The Nation continues to lead in SENĆOŦEN and Lekwungen language revitalization, urban reconciliation, and stewardship of the Salish Sea shoreline.
